State Senator Bob Hasegawa has represented the 11th Legislative District for over two decades and is the current chair of the Senate Democratic Caucus. Senator Hasegawa is a longtime labor and social justice activist who has led many workers struggles and has collaborated with activist movements to protect and advance civil rights, workers’ rights, democracy, and the environment. In this presentation, Senator Hasegawa will discuss his bill, SB5754: An Act Relating to the Creation of the Washington State Public Bank.
