“Financing and Supporting Cooperative Housing”

Kaleb Hoeffgen and Isaias Espinoza, both from the Northwest Cooperative Development Center (NWCDC), present on how housing cooperatives and the broader cooperative economy can support housing stability and economic resilience for marginalized communities across Washington State. Their presentation will focus on how shared ownership models—especially Resident Owned Communities and worker co-ops—can keep housing affordable, prevent displacement, and give communities more control over their economic future.
